THE NATION CONDEMNED TO DEATH IN THEIR OWN HOMELAND BY COMMUNIST CHINA
THE 21ST CENTURY ETHNIC GENOCIDE IN OCCUPIED EAST TURKISTAN
Since the occupation, especially since 2016 China has been making increasing efforts to destroy all aspects of the identity of the Muslim people of East Turkistan, majority of whom are Uyghur Turks. Islam is completely forbidden, Uyghurs are forcibly assimilated into the Chinese state through forced marriages and banning of Uyghur language, millions have been killed through nuclear testing and massacres, and now millions of Uyghurs and other Turkic people including Kazakhs, Kyrgyz, Uzbeks have been locked up in Chinese concentration camps where they are victims of hunger, forced labour, torture, rape, organ harvesting and a brutal death. Currently, the mass majority of the people of East Turkistan are being incarcerated by the Communist China in the pretext of so ideological battle against so called “The Three Evil Forces: extremism, separatism, and terrorism.” or Vocational Training. In short, the entire region has been turn to a dungeon for its own people. Unfortunately, the mass majority of the international community, particularly the Muslim World have been silent about the atrocities against humanity.
Those who are not locked in concentration camps or detention centers are immobilized by the massive security systems set in place by the Chinese government. China has employed mandatory tracking devices to monitor the actions of the Muslim Turks, and has forced Han government cadres to live in their homes to make sure they are not engaging in Islamic practices and are loyal to communist China under the leadership of Chairman Xi Jinping. There are security checkpoints on nearly every block, and entering most buildings requires one to go through facial scanning and ID checks. For three years, Chinese authorities in East Turkistan have forcibly collected millions of DNA samples, fingerprints, and iris scans from all residents of occupied East Turkistan under the guise of public health programs.
In general, not only has Communist China been destroying every aspect of the life of the people of East Turkistan, but it has also been conducting ethnic genocide under the pretext of “fixing ideological illnesses” through re-education camps, or what China calls vocational training centers. Because the people of East Turkestan have received very limited international attention due to Chinese pressure on many countries, we call on the United States, which upholds freedom and human rights to raise its voice on behalf of the millions of East Turkistanis whose voices are kept silent, and to use the Global Magnitsky Act to sanction the Chinese government for its crimes.
We ask the United States to seek to right to visit the Chinese prisons and all concentration camp scattered throughout our homeland. We ask that the United States press the United Nations to investigate the just cause of the people of East Turkistan, working directly with us as true representatives, not those appointed by Beijing. In short, we ask the United States to make it clear to Beijing that the human rights of the people of East Turkistan matter to the U.S. and to take action to end the ongoing genocide occurring in our homeland.
